Ιατρική Ερευνητική Μεθοδολογία (Medical Research Methodology)

The MSc in Medical Research Methodology is inextricably linked to the strategic objectives of the Medical School of Thessaloniki and aims to extend the knowledge on the subject of Medical Research Methodology.

Graduates of this MSc will be able to work in positions of public and private sectors, which require specialized knowledge on the subject of Medical Research Methodology. It is acknowledged that the teaching of this particular scientific subject is a necessity for an updated medical curriculum vitae. Besides, the possession of this MSc degree constitutes a requirement for admission to doctoral (third cycle) studies or for the engagement in medical research.

Call for applications for MSc in Medical Research Methodology 2020-2021

The Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is launching for a fifh year a Master of Science, for healthcare professionals, on Medical Research Methodology. Main aim of the Master is the training of a wide spectrum of scientists on cutting-edge methodologies and technologies that will assist them in planning and conducting research programs, thus advancing their academic and professional career.

The main features of this MSc, which make it especially attractive, are:

• Short duration: From February until January (12 months), the students will complete a 75-ECTS program that includes eight modules (five compulsory: Introduction to Statistics, Clinical Research Methodology, Basic Sciences Methodology, How to write a paper or a grant proposal, Introduction to Bioethics-Publication Ethics; and three electives: selection from Advanced Statistics, Systematic Review & Meta-analysis, Data Mining, Computational Medical Research, Advanced Techniques in Medical Research, Qualitative Research, Clinical Trials), as well as a MSc thesis.
• Blended form: Combination of onsite and online learning, to allow optimal time management. Only three weeks of onsite teaching (one week in February, one in April and one in June) to ensure minimal physical presence.
• English language: To ensure an international group of distinguished tutors and an international class of fellow students, all modules are held in English.

Προκήρυξη Αγγλόφωνου Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών στην Ιατρική Ερευνητική Μεθοδολογία στα Ελληνικά

Το Τμήμα Ιατρικής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης ανακοινώνει την προκήρυξη για πέμπτη χρονιά του προγράμματος μεταπτυχιακών σπουδών (MSc) για επαγγελματίες υγείας, στην Ιατρική Ερευνητική Μεθοδολογία. Σκοπός του προγράμματος είναι η εκπαίδευση ενός ευρέος φάσματος επιστημόνων σε μεθοδολογίες και τεχνολογίες αιχμής, που θα τους βοηθήσουν να σχεδιάζουν και να εκπονούν ερευνητικά προγράμματα, προάγοντας την ακαδημαϊκή και επαγγελματική τους σταδιοδρομία.

Τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά του προγράμματος, που το καθιστούν ιδιαίτερα ελκυστικό, είναι:

1. Μικρή διάρκεια: Από το Φεβρουάριο έως τον Ιανουάριο (12 μήνες), οι φοιτητές θα έχουν ολοκληρώσει το σύνολο των 75 διδακτικών μονάδων (ECTS), που αντιστοιχούν στα πέντε υποχρεωτικά (Introduction to Statistics, Clinical Research Methodology, Basic Sciences Methodology, How to write a paper or a grant proposal, Introduction to Bioethics-Publication ethics) και τα τρία επιλεγόμενα μαθήματα (επιλογή από: Advanced Statistics, Systematic Review & Meta-analysis, Computational Medical Research, Data Mining, Advanced Techniques in Medical Research, Qualitative Research, Clinical Trials), συμπεριλαμβανομένης της κύριας μεταπτυχιακής διπλωματικής εργασίας (MSc thesis).

2. Ευέλικτη, μικτή μορφή: Συνδυασμός φυσικής (on-site) και διαδικτυακής (on-line) παρουσίας, ώστε να καταστεί δυνατή η καλύτερη διαχείριση του χρόνου. Απαιτούνται μόνον τρεις εβδομάδες φυσικής παρουσίας (μία εβδομάδα τον Φεβρουάριο, μία τον Απρίλιο και μία τον Ιούνιο), ώστε να εξασφαλιστεί η μέγιστη ευελιξία.

3. Διεξαγωγή μαθημάτων στην αγγλική γλώσσα: Με αυτόν τον τρόπο διασφαλίζεται η παρουσία μίας διεθνούς ομάδας διακεκριμένων καθηγητών, και μία διεθνής τάξη συμφοιτητών.

4. Ανταγωνιστικά δίδακτρα: Τα δίδακτρα καταβάλλονται σε τρεις δόσεις, καθιστώντας το μεταπτυχιακό ελκυστική και προσιτή επιλογή για πολυάσχολους επαγγελματίες.
